Purpose of the Role
The Production Team Coordinator Assembly is responsible for coordinating and managing assembly activities to meet production schedules on time and ensure compliance with defined quality standards. The position assumes professional leadership of an assembly team in shift operations, promotes a culture of continuous improvement, and significantly contributes to safe, efficient, and high-quality production processes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor assembly processes to ensure adherence to production plans, deadlines, and performance targets.
- Lead, motivate, and support assembly staff while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Collaborate with quality assurance to ensure and continuously improve product and process quality.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and process stability.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, work instructions, and quality standards in the assembly area.
Qualifications
- Completed school education or equivalent qualification; a technical vocational training is advantageous.
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form are required; English skills are advantageous.
- Proven professional experience in production as well as experience in leading or coordinating assembly processes.
- Sound knowledge of assembly techniques, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- High safety and quality orientation.
