We are Solifos – a Swiss SME with 25+ years of experience in fibre optic sensors and
tactical communication systems. To ensure our assembly runs smoothly every day and we
continuously improve, we are looking for you: someone who leads the team, structures workflows
and not only introduces new processes but also anchors them in daily practice:

Team Leader: Fibre Optic Assembly (m/f/d)

Your role

• You take responsibility for our fibre optic assembly and continuously develop the processes around connector assembly, splicing and testing
• You lead a team of about 12 assembly staff and are the contact person when it comes to fibre handling, quality and tricky special productions
• You contribute to the introduction of new testing and packaging processes, from optical measurement technology to secure delivery
• You plan and optimise the material flow and support capacity and detailed planning
• You coordinate between assembly, warehouse, shipping and other internal departments
• You accompany your team with new workflows and ensure that these do not fade away after two weeks

What you bring

• Practical experience with fibre optics, ideally in assembly: connector assembly, splicing, polishing or optical measurements (e.g. attenuation, OTDR) are familiar to you
• Completed technical training
• You trust yourself to lead a team. Initial leadership experience, for example as a deputy, shift supervisor or similar, is a plus but not a must.
• Confident handling of ERP systems (ideally SAP) and MS Office
• Structured working style with a hands-on mentality: you are just as often at the workbench as at the desk
• Very good German language skills, spoken and written
