Are you a professional artist, actor, or musician? Do you want to work for half a year on a project with talented young people on a show? Have you always wanted to travel through Switzerland in a caravan? Then you are exactly right here.

Circus Chnopf is a cross-genre and intergenerational project. Since 1990, we have been producing innovative open-air spectacles and touring through Switzerland in the summer. We offer young people and young artists the opportunity to develop their talents while working with experienced artists.

The trained artists play an important role in promoting the young people and young artists. They model a healthy training and rehearsal behavior. The professionals accompany the young people and young artists in the daily workflows of the tour life. During setup and teardown, in household tasks, as well as before and after the shows, the professionals take responsibility for areas such as the bar, food, or props.

We offer professional artists a position in a creative, professional environment for five to six months. They receive a monthly salary of CHF 3600.– minus contributions for food and accommodation starting from the beginning of the intensive rehearsals. The position is also possible as civil service. During the rehearsal weekends, food and accommodation are provided free of charge, but the rehearsal weekends are not compensated. Expenses will be covered on a case-by-case basis.
