Department: Architecture, Design and Civil Engineering

Start of work: from 1.1.2026 or by arrangement (limited for 2 years with option for extension)

• Collaboration in research and development projects with partners from industry. The research focus is prestressed carbon concrete and load-bearing fiber composite materials in construction, usually in combination with conventional building materials
• Analysis and evaluation of structures, development of new building materials, structural systems and construction processes
• Support in planning, construction and execution of laboratory tests and structural tests and subsequent documentation, also for publications
• Occasional support and participation in teaching
• You have a degree in civil engineering (FH/Uni/ETH) and preferably practical experience
• Good to very good German skills in spoken and written form
• You are curious and open to constantly new questions and show creativity in finding new solutions
• You have manual skills
• Knowledge of CAD programs
• You enjoy researching constructions and building materials and appreciate independent, goal-oriented work as well as teamwork within the research group
