Grischelectra AG (GEAG) is a legally independent electricity company in which the canton of Graubünden, Graubünden municipalities, Graubünden power companies, Graubünden industry with high energy consumption, and the Rhaetian Railway together hold 70 percent of the share capital. Repower AG and Axpo Solutions AG hold the remaining 30 percent of GEAG. The establishment of GEAG in 1978 aimed, among other things, to utilise the energy contributed by the Graubünden municipalities and the canton of Graubünden.

The government of the canton of Graubünden has the right to submit election proposals for three persons to the Board of Directors for the General Meeting (cantonal representations). One of these mandates is to be re-elected at the next General Meeting.

What we expect from you

As part of the nomination process, the canton of Graubünden is looking for a competent and farsighted personality who

• is familiar with the energy policy environment and is able to represent the interests of the canton,
• has experience in strategic processes and is able to contribute accordingly,
• thinks entrepreneurially and has an understanding of the energy industry,
• has a connection to the canton. A connection to the Engadin region would be particularly desirable.
