Automation Technician (m/f/d) 80-100%
From diagnosis to test drive – ensuring smooth railway operations.
To complete our workshop team of the Limmattal Railway, we are looking for a committed individual as an Automation Technician for the Dietikon location immediately or by arrangement.Your tasks
- You diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults on rail vehicles
- You carry out electrical as well as mechanical maintenance, modifications, and overhauls on rail vehicles
- You assist with the documentation of maintenance work
- You perform shunting movements and test drives as a locomotive driver B80
- You take turns with your team colleagues to provide on-call services (approximately every 5 - 6 weeks)
Your profile
- Vocational training as an Automation Technician, Electromechanic, Vehicle Diagnostician (or comparable vocational training) with EFZ qualification
- Affinity for IT applications and computer-assisted diagnostics
- Very good German language skills, both spoken and written
- High standards for your own work quality, high reliability as well as a sense of responsibility and safety awareness
- Driving licence category B and residence in the vicinity (max. 50 minutes commute)
- Willingness to train as a locomotive driver category B80
