The Office for Penal Enforcement (AJV) Graubünden is a department of the Department of Justice, Security and Health of the Canton of Graubünden. The AJV is responsible for the enforcement of sentences and measures as well as the implementation of various types of detention. In Graubünden, the enforcement of sentences and measures is regulated as a unified subject and holistic task, in which various professional groups work interdisciplinarily with offenders to prevent further delinquency.
The Realta Correctional Facility (JVA) serves the open penal enforcement for men according to the Swiss Penal Code.
We are looking for, by arrangement, a Employee in Care and Security Service
- Supervision, care and management of admitted persons from various cultural backgrounds
- Direct contact person for questions and concerns of the admitted persons
- Ensuring and coordinating an orderly operational process taking into account legal bases as well as enforcement and security-relevant requirements and rules
- Writing reports and documenting events
- Performing early, day, late, night and weekend shifts
- Completed at least three-year vocational training with EFZ or equivalent qualification
- Balanced, resilient and conflict-capable personality with high social competence
- Enjoyment of teamwork as well as interdisciplinary collaboration
- Interest in socio-psychological questions and issues in penal enforcement is indispensable
- Very good German skills (at least C1) – knowledge of foreign languages is an advantage
- Good IT user skills
- Driving licence category B
- Willingness to complete training as a specialist in penal enforcement
- A clean record (no entries in the criminal record and debt enforcement register)
