About the job
Spitex Region Frauenfeld is a forward-looking and continuously growing non-profit organisation with around 120 employees and a respectful informal culture. On behalf of the public sector, we care for, accompany, and support people of all ages in their familiar homes.
Our client base is growing – and that is why we are looking immediately or by arrangement for YOU: a committed professional who wants to help shape psychiatric nursing with expertise, empathy, and personal responsibility.
Dipl. Psychiatric Nurse HF/FH (50%)
What to expect
With us, you meet people where their everyday life takes place: in their own home. You accompany people with mental illnesses individually and on an equal footing and support them in living as independently and autonomously as possible.
In doing so, you take case responsibility and actively shape the entire nursing process. You conduct needs assessments, create individual care plans, and coordinate the necessary measures. Your tasks include, among others:
- Support and assistance in psychological crisis situations
- Promotion of independence, resources, and everyday skills
- Regular exchange with treating professionals, legal guardians, and relatives
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with various partners in the network
- Independent organisation and design of your work in the outpatient setting
What you bring
You are a person who enjoys working independently, takes responsibility, and keeps the person in focus even in demanding situations.
Additionally, you bring:
- Qualification as a Dipl. Nurse HF/FH, specialising in psychiatry
- Experience working with people with mental illnesses
- An independent, resilient, and flexible working style
- Enjoyment in accompanying people in their personal living environment as well as in professional and appreciative relationship building
- Openness, strong communication skills, and team spirit
- Driving licence category B and willingness to use your own vehicle for assignments if necessary; a company vehicle is available to the team subject to availability.
Work independently – and still have a strong team behind you.
This is what awaits you with us:
- A meaningful and varied role with a lot of personal responsibility
- A cheerful and dynamic team of five colleagues who support each other
- Working hours from Monday to Friday – no weekend or public holiday shifts
- Flexible organisation and active participation in planning your working days
- Regular professional support and exchange within the team
- Case supervisions with an external expert for reflection and professional development
- An open, appreciative, and uncomplicated informal culture
Sound like you?
Outpatient psychiatric nursing is diverse, demanding, and above all: close to people. No working day is exactly like another. You gain insight into different life worlds, can build relationships, and accompany people over a longer period.
You work independently – but never alone. We exchange ideas, support each other, and pull together as a team.
Would you like to bring your experience and personality to us? Then we would love to get to know you.
