ICT System Engineer (m/f/d) 80 - 100%

Your area of responsibility includes the secure operation as well as the setup, expansion and conversion of platforms and infrastructures. In close cooperation with the specialist departments, you are responsible for the lifecycle of the virtualized environment. You support IT/OT projects through the conception, setup and configuration of platforms.

This is what you will do:

• You are responsible for the operation as well as the setup, expansion and conversion of our ICT platforms with a focus on virtualization and storage systems.
• You design highly available and high-performance infrastructures and set standards for scalability and operational reliability.
• In the further development of our system landscape, you contribute your know-how in a targeted manner and independently lead technical migration and integration projects.
• You efficiently and sustainably automate recurring operational tasks, for example with Ansible, PowerShell or CI/CD pipelines.
• You analyze complex malfunctions, find causes and develop viable, long-term solutions.
• You work closely with specialist departments and project teams and actively contribute to the further development of our OT infrastructure.

This is what you bring with you:

• Higher vocational education (e.g. HF/FH in computer science or relevant professional experience)
• Several years of professional experience in system technology (virtualization, servers, storage)
• Experience with the operation of complex ICT infrastructures (preferably in critical environments)
• Great interest in the further development of platform architecture in an increasingly decentralized supply system
• Very independent, communicative and empathetic personality who likes to take responsibility and work in a team, is passionate about their topics and inspires others
