Financial Accounting Advisory Services professionals provide advisory and assurance services to a wide range of clients across the banking, insurance and asset management sectors covering a broad spectrum of services in finance function transformation, technology and digital transformation of the finance function, consolidated reporting, accounting advisory support across IFRS, Swiss statutory and regulatory accounting bases as well as optimization of financial processes and internal controls.

Your key responsibilities

• As an experienced Finance, Accounting and/or Audit professional, advise CFO organizations and senior Finance stakeholders on their key Finance transformation, accounting, reporting and regulatory priorities
• Shape Finance Transformation initiatives and lead multidisciplinary teams in transforming Finance functions, end-to-end business processes, reporting and operating models, from diagnostic and target-state design through implementation
• Bring an AI mindset and practical insights into AI, automation and emerging Finance technologies, helping clients identify, prioritize and implement relevant use cases that improve Finance processes, reporting, insights and decision-making, while considering data readiness, governance and controls
• Advise clients on implementing new accounting and reporting requirements and remediating accounting, reporting and control challenges, translating them into effective processes, systems and controls
• Lead Finance and assurance workstreams within ERP and technology-enabled transformations, providing independent challenge over key design decisions, implementation readiness and the Finance, reporting and control implications of change
• Develop new business and long-term client relationships, leveraging your network across Switzerland and internationally to identify opportunities, shape compelling propositions and originate projects

• Lead and develop our people while actively shaping and growing our Finance Transformation capabilities and market proposition within Financial Services

What we look for

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related discipline; a relevant professional qualification such as Swiss Certified Accountant, CPA or ACCA is an advantage
• 6–8 years of relevant experience in Finance Transformation, Consulting, Finance and/or Audit, preferably within Financial Services
• Demonstrated experience delivering and leading Finance Transformation initiatives across Finance process optimization, financial close, consolidation and group reporting, operating models, ERP-enabled transformation and internal controls
• Strong accounting and financial reporting expertise, with the ability to connect accounting and regulatory requirements with Finance processes, technology, data and controls
• Strong understanding of AI and emerging Finance technologies, combined with practical insight into how AI use cases can be applied across the Finance function to deliver tangible business value
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, complex workstreams and senior client stakeholders from concept and design through implementation, with accountability for high-quality delivery
• Commercial mindset and proven business development experience, with the ability to identify opportunities, shape propositions and convert them into client engagements
• Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to leverage external and internal networks and build meaningful relationships; excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills in English and German are a must, French is a plus
