Your tasks
- Operational and strategic management of the nursing and educational areas of paediatrics as well as child and adolescent psychiatry
- Ensuring high-quality, patient- and family-oriented care taking into account current professional, legal and economic requirements
- Responsibility for personnel management, personnel development and personnel deployment planning of the assigned areas
- Leadership of ward and team managers
- Further development of nursing concepts, standards and processes incorporating nursing science findings
- Ensuring structural, process and outcome quality, especially regarding regulatory documentation obligations (PPP-RL) as well as accompanying certification and quality assurance measures
- Promoting an appreciative, motivating and team-oriented leadership culture
- Close cooperation with medical management, therapeutic services, social services and other professional groups
- Steering and accompanying projects as well as active shaping of change and development processes
- Participation in budget and resource planning as well as ensuring economical personnel deployment
- Supporting the nursing management in strategic issues and cross-departmental tasks
Your profile
- Successfully completed training as a nursing specialist, paediatric nurse, general nurse or comparable qualification
- Completed studies in nursing management, nursing science, health management or a comparable qualification desirable
- Several years of professional experience in paediatrics, child and adolescent psychiatry or related fields
- Leadership experience, ideally as ward manager, department manager or in a comparable leadership role
- Sound knowledge in quality management as well as relevant legal and organisational framework conditions in hospitals
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
- High social competence, empathy and an appreciative approach to employees, patients and relatives
- Strategic thinking and the ability to successfully shape change processes
- Confident handling of digital applications and hospital information systems
