The Upper Fricktal Police is responsible for ensuring the local security of around 37,000 residents in 17 contract municipalities. To expand our established and motivated team of 16 police officers and four civilian employees, we are looking for a POLICE TRAINEE starting October 1, 2026. We offer you a very interesting and diverse police field of work in the Upper Fricktal. You can expect progressive employment conditions and modern workplaces in the police building, centrally located in Frick. The two-year police training, course 26-2, is completed at the Intercantonal Police School Hitzkirch (IPH). You have completed a vocational apprenticeship as well as good general knowledge and are a Swiss citizen. Secure German language skills in speaking and writing as well as an impeccable reputation are required. You are a reliable, team-oriented, honest, and physically as well as mentally resilient personality, possess a healthy assertiveness and a quick grasp. Preferably, you are already familiar with the Fricktal area. You are flexible and willing to take on irregular duties (on-call, night, and weekend shifts).
