Home Commission
Our motto is: "Finding together, Growing together, Sharing responsibility" The Weingarten Olten nursing and retirement home is a facility of the Community of Olten and offers professional care and support to around 70 elderly and care-dependent individuals, tailored to the individual needs of the residents. We are looking for motivated and committed volunteers who would like to regularly support our team in various areas. The tasks are diverse and offer valuable opportunities to spend time with our residents and contribute to the quality of life in the home. Volunteer work
Trips
Support in accompanying medical trips and outings for our residents. This is usually in the nearby area. Your help ensures that the residents receive optimal support and care while traveling.
- Accompanying personal and medical appointments and trips with our vehicle (car or bus)
- Accompanying on outings
Being together at events or enjoying nature and fresh air while accompanying our residents on walks. Supporting with good conversations to promote well-being and build a relationship.
- Participation in daily activation, accompanying walks
- Baking together
- Promoting social exchange and movement
Helping with the management of the outdoor area, caring for flowers, trimming bushes Cafeteria
Support us in the cafeteria and ensure a pleasant atmosphere and a diverse offer for the residents. You can help in the team in the cafeteria and advise the residents on their choice of food and drinks.
