About the job
This position is not for people who are simply looking for an office job.
Every morning our vehicles leave the depot so that municipalities, companies and private customers can rely on our services.
Behind this is a person who keeps an overview, takes responsibility and finds solutions even when the day does not go as planned.
For this key position, we are not looking for an administrator.
We are looking for a doer.
A personality who thinks along, gets stuck in and enjoys making a business a little better every day.
Your responsibilities
You coordinate our vehicles, drivers and employees.
You organise the daily assignments, solve short-term problems and ensure that our customers can count on us.
You will not be sitting behind a screen all day.
You are regularly out on the road, talking to drivers, visiting customers, observing workflows on site and recognising potential for improvement.
As the person responsible for the fleet, you also bear operational responsibility for our vehicle fleet. You keep an eye on the condition and readiness of our vehicles, coordinate maintenance, repairs and service work, and ensure that our vehicles can be used reliably, safely and economically.
You recognise early when a vehicle requires action, coordinate the necessary measures and keep track of appointments, costs and downtime.
In doing so, you work closely with drivers, workshops and external partners.
You are interested in people, vehicles and processes – and understand that a well-functioning fleet is the foundation for a reliable operation.
What we expect
- You take responsibility.
- You make decisions.
- You address problems openly.
- You do not wait for someone to tell you what to do.
- If something can be improved, you tackle it.
- You remain calm and solution-oriented even when several problems occur simultaneously.
- You have an eye for the condition and readiness of our vehicles and ensure that necessary measures are not postponed.
- You think ahead and keep an overview even with many parallel tasks.
Ideally, you bring the following
- Experience in transport, waste disposal, logistics or construction
- Organisational talent
- Leadership experience or natural assertiveness
- Technical understanding and interest in vehicles
- Enjoyment of customer contact
- Confident appearance
- Good IT user skills
- Driving licence category B (category C advantageous)
However, what matters to us is not just your CV.
What matters is your personality.
What we offer
- A varied and responsible leadership role
- Short decision-making paths
- Lots of personal responsibility
- Support for further training
- Modern employment conditions
- A role where you can really make a difference
Our selection process is a little different.
An interview alone is not enough for us.
The shortlist spends a practical day in our company.
You accompany our drivers, get to know our services, talk to employees and receive real dispatching tasks.
Because we do not want to know how well someone can talk about work.
We want to see how someone works.
