About the job
To complement our «Fugu» nursery team Zurich Klus, we are looking for an intern 100% starting August 2026 or by arrangement
«Fugu» nurseries are a private operation aiming to expand family-supportive childcare at attractive locations. Our «Fugu»-Huus is located directly by Kluspark in district 7. The nearest tram and bus stop Hölderlinstrasse with lines 3, 8 and N16 and N19 is in close proximity to our house. We have 380 m2 of light-flooded rooms available, which we have developed and furnished to be child-friendly. The nursery is organised into 3 groups. Opening hours are from 7.00 am to 6.30 pm.
How brave are you? Working with children is full of life and you will certainly never be bored. As an intern, you will gain your first experiences in the professional world. We accompany you on your path with care and empathy and support you with our expertise. You will learn the basics of childcare and will be allowed to take on increasing responsibility. It is important to us that your backpack is full of knowledge and experience by the end of the internship year. This way, you will feel ready to start training as a childcare professional.
TASKS
- Collaborate in the meaningful and appropriate organisation of everyday life
- Support the group leader in managing the children’s group according to the educational principles of the «Fugu» nurseries
- Gain first professional experiences under guidance
- Co-organise celebrations, festivals and events
REQUIREMENTS
- Completed compulsory schooling
- Joy and interest in working with children and in a team
- Very good oral and written German skills
- Reliable and resilient
- Self-reflection, willingness to develop further
- Good manners
