To support our growing retail business True Society, we are looking for immediately or by arrangement for our headquarters in Zug an Accounting Manager (m/f/d), 100%.

As Accounting Manager for our company-owned True Society Retail Stores, you bring your expertise in retail accounting, your passion as well as your planning and organisational skills. You support our global retail organisation and ensure that financial reports are prepared correctly and on time. With your eye for detail and your expertise, you contribute to continuously optimising and further developing our processes.

Your tasks
- Ensuring timely and accurate month-end closing processes
- Review and approval of journal entries, monthly account reconciliations and variance analyses
- Preparation of financial reports
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies and processes
- Professional support and assistance to employees in accounts payable and general ledger accounting
- Responsibility for maintaining and accuracy of general ledger accounts and financial data in compliance with company policies and local accounting standards
- Support in the annual budgeting process as well as in regular forecasting processes
- Identification of optimisation opportunities in corporate accounting processes, including (but not limited to) the month-end closing process, cost-saving initiatives and documentation of policies and processes
- Support of the Director Finance & Accounting in various projects and initiatives
- Implementation of new software solutions or further accounting solutions as needed
What you bring
- Completed studies in finance/accounting or a comparable professional qualification with appropriate further training
- At least 5–7 years of professional experience in accounting/finance, including experience in developing accounting policies and processes; experience in the retail environment is an advantage
- Very good Excel skills
- Fluent German and English skills
- Strong attention to detail as well as the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Curiosity, a continuous improvement mentality
- Strong team skills combined with an independent and responsible way of working
- Experience with international companies and cross-border transactions
- Experience with NetSuite is an advantage
