Join us in our commitment to the vision of a solidaristic society, as Team Leader and Social Pedagogical Key Contact 80 - 100 % in Uster (m/f/d) Since March 2024, Caritas Switzerland has been operating asylum centres for families, individuals and unaccompanied minors (UAM) at currently five locations in the canton of Zurich on behalf of the Cantonal Social Office (KSA). In this responsible role, you combine leadership skills with social pedagogical expertise and actively shape the development of the team and young people. Your tasks
- Professional and personnel leadership and advice for the UAM residential group team, solution-oriented intervention in problems and conflicts
- Planning of personnel deployment according to personnel requirements planning in consultation with the centre management
- Participation in the recruitment of further specialists for the team
- Preparation, follow-up and conduct of meetings including case discussions
- Promotion of the professional development of employees
- Representation of the residential group towards internal and external bodies
- Promotion of constructive, appreciative and interdisciplinary collaboration within the team
- Conducting employee interviews as well as support in target agreements and performance development
- Taking over a UAM case management
- Completed recognised social pedagogical training (or equivalent)
- Experience in the migration field and/or youth work desirable
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Good knowledge of German, further foreign language skills advantageous
- Intercultural competence
- Willingness to work varying hours
- High sense of responsibility and quality awareness
- Initiative and independence as well as assertiveness
- High resilience and ability to cope with pressure
- Good Microsoft Office skills
- Impeccable reputation
