Responsibilities

• Projects and Customers: You clarify requirements, prepare offers, and plan projects. You are responsible for deadlines, quality, and budget, address risks early, and develop follow-up orders with our customers.
• Team and Daily Business: You coordinate the operational project business, set priorities, and plan capacities. You lead the team professionally, clarify responsibilities, and involve external specialists if necessary.
• Technology and Development: You work with the team to develop architectures and interfaces for software and hardware projects. For challenging questions, you review code or develop a prototype yourself.
• AI in Everyday Work: You apply AI in development, planning, testing, and documentation and support the team in doing so. You assess benefits and quality and protect confidential data.
• Profitability: You realistically estimate efforts and keep an eye on utilisation and project margins. You coordinate economic matters with management, accounting, and administration.

Qualifications

• Several years of software development experience and knowledge of software architecture; a technical education or a comparable professional background.
• Experience in managing demanding customer projects or small teams with responsibility for deadlines, quality, and budget.
• Practical experience with AI tools and a good understanding of their possibilities and limitations.
• Entrepreneurial thinking, commercial understanding, and enjoyment of customer contact. You work independently and pragmatically, communicate respectfully, and make clear decisions.
• Very good German and confident English, both spoken and written, are prerequisites.

Experience with firmware, hardware, IoT, or external development partners is a plus.
