You will achieve the following with us- Taking over leadership in the absence of the branch manager
- Supporting the branch manager in leading and motivating the team
- Coordinating and monitoring daily operations
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and processes
- Assisting with staff deployment planning
- Personally advising and caring for customers regarding our entire small animal range
- Receiving, checking and storing goods
- Merchandising according to specifications
- Monitoring stock levels and reordering goods
- Processing payment transactions including daily closing
- Assisting with inventories
- Sales training, retail training and/or several years of experience in retail
- Very good French skills (level B1/B2) spoken and written
- Initial leadership experience
- Ambitions to take on a branch manager position later
- Experience in pet specialty retail an advantage
- Flexible sales personality with a passion for animals
- Responsible working style as well as neat and likeable appearance
- Team spirit and communication skills
- Organisational skills (hands-on mentality), stamina and stress resistance
