On behalf of the canton, we welcome new arrivals in our Matran centre, assist them in finding their own accommodation, provide personal and material aid according to social welfare standards, and support them in their efforts towards professional and social integration. Additionally, we manage a community interpreting service active in several French-speaking cantons as well as a listening and counselling service against racism for residents of the canton of Fribourg.

The teams follow them individually, prepare monthly budgets, and provide material and personal aid in accordance with cantonal law and the principle of subsidiarity. They also support them in administrative procedures and assess their integration needs.
