About the job
We are looking for a committed heating plant operator who takes responsibility and ensures that our thermal engineering systems run safely, reliably and efficiently at all times. In this role, you will work with modern steam, hot water, biomass and energy systems, monitor complex processes and contribute significantly to high system availability.Heating Plant Operator
What you can achieve with us.
- You operate and monitor our steam, hot water, biomass and heating systems, ensuring safe and stable operation
- You detect deviations, carry out safety-related measurements and take the appropriate steps in the event of malfunctions.
- You work depending on your focus with industrial thermal engineering systems or thermal waste treatment plants including flue gas cleaning.
- You regularly perform chemical analyses of boiler and feed water as well as combustion control measurements.
- You contribute to optimising processes and ensuring consistently high system availability.
- You work in shifts and appreciate the variety between routine and responsibility.
- Rounds and partial support in waste disposal operations are also part of the duties
What defines you.
- You have a completed technical or craft training, e.g. as a mechatronics technician, mechanic, electrician, locksmith or heating installer.
- You have experience in operating thermal engineering systems or wish to develop further in this field.
- An additional qualification as a heating plant operator is an advantage or you are motivated to acquire it.
- You work reliably, flexibly and responsibly and consistently observe safety regulations.
- You feel comfortable working shifts and keep an overview even in demanding situations.
