I often experience that those seeking help feel great uncertainty and anxiety upon admission, but after a few days feel well cared for and relieved, thus having a positive experience. I consider the interdisciplinary collaboration with all disciplines involved in the treatment, the active involvement of relatives and the individual support network, to be an essential part of successful treatment. This patient-centred approach is actively lived on our ward.
