We are looking for a GitOps Engineer 80-100% (m/f/d) for our DevOps team.
As a GitOps Engineer (m/f/d), you will work on automating modern software deployment processes and bring your expertise in container technologies, continuous integration and delivery, as well as infrastructure automation. You are a crucial part of an interdisciplinary team that drives innovative solutions together.

What you will achieve
In this versatile role, you will take responsibility for the smooth and automated operation of our software deployments:
- Automating processes for builds, releases, tests, and deployments (CI/CD)
- Carrying out deployments in various environments
- Creating and maintaining documentation for processes and systems
- Defining functional and non-functional requirements (e.g., availability, security, performance)
- Developing technical concepts and effort estimates
- Identifying and resolving issues within the container environments
- Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of workflows
- Collaborating with subject matter experts from various disciplines
- Point of contact regarding deployments and container technologies
Why you will succeed
For this role, we are looking for a technically skilled individual with the following profile:
- Completed education in computer science (e.g., HF/FH/University) or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
- Solid knowledge in software development, databases, and interfaces
- Very good knowledge in the installation, configuration, and management of Kubernetes or OpenShift
- Experience with CI/CD, especially with tools like GitLab and Helm
- Proficient in working with Windows and Linux systems as well as basic networking and storage technologies
- Experience in software deployments and installations
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Bash, Python, or JavaScript for automation
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form, good English skills
