To meet the growing demand for electrically powered buses, we are looking to strengthen our Bus & Trolley division with a dynamic technician for the commissioning of our vehicles.

Do you have an affinity for electromobility, drive systems and also for the software in vehicles? Are you self-motivated to actively contribute so that public transport is equipped with innovative and high-quality electromobility? In this role, you ensure that the vehicles from our production can go directly into line operation. Your feedback and insights are important and flow directly into the vehicle generation of tomorrow. Through your training and professional experience, you are the link between development and production.

Your Tasks

• Commissioning of traction systems on electric buses, including high-voltage batteries, charging systems and communication systems
• Uploading, testing and parameterising the HESS vehicle software on the control units
• Creating fault diagnoses and carrying out remedial measures in coordination with the respective specialist departments
• Quality and functional control of the E/E system and its functionality in our electric buses
• Documentation and approval of the commissioning carried out
• Collaboration on new developments for the electromobility of tomorrow, their test methods and appropriate process steps 

Our Requirements

• Completed vocational training as an automotive mechatronics technician, automation technician or comparable qualification with E/E knowledge
• Ideally further training in mechatronics or vehicle technology 
• Enjoyment of diagnostic work with a high level of quality awareness
• Ideally knowledge of high-voltage systems (automotive) and/or traction systems (railway) and their protection systems (e.g. insulation monitoring, emergency stop circuits)
• Basic knowledge of programming systems CODESYS, Matlab and Simulink (knowledge of communication systems such as CAN-Bus J1939 desirable)
• Interest in learning new things
• Collaborative and solution-oriented hands-on mentality
• Written and oral communication skills in German and English (French knowledge an advantage)
• Good PC skills in Microsoft Office
