The Kongresshaus Zürich is located in the vibrant centre of Zurich, the economic metropolis of Switzerland. The Zurich event and congress centre offers space for up to 4,500 guests, making it the largest venue of its kind in Zurich's city centre. Kongresshaus Zürich AG (Zurich Convention Center Ltd.) operates and markets the Kongresshaus Zürich as well as the LUX Restaurant & Bar and offers upscale gastronomy throughout the entire building complex, including the Tonhalle Zürich. Founded in 1985 and ISO-certified, the company sets new standards in sustainability and quality management in the event industry.

To further strengthen our motivated Event Support Team, we are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented individual from October 2026 or by arrangement.

Event Supporter & Event Construction (m/f/d)

Your new role

• Installation, commissioning and inspection of electrical systems and devices before, during and after events

• Warehouse logistics and maintenance of electrical equipment between assignments

• Provision and transport of room furnishings in all rooms of the Kongresshaus, as well as loading and unloading of vehicles

• Safety officer for events (SIBE) is an advantage

• Carrying out furniture arrangements in the event rooms according to plan

• Minor repairs of event materials & experience in event construction

• Responsible for proper and correct storage of materials

What you bring

• Professional experience in event operations, logistics or stage construction in a hands-on environment

• Completed training in electrical engineering, event technology or comparable qualification is an advantage

• High service orientation and flexibility (irregular working hours including evenings and weekends)

• Good spatial imagination and interconnected thinking are very important

• Experience in event logistics or stage construction

• Solid knowledge of warehouse management and storage

• Proactive and initiative personality

• Fluent German skills and good English skills are a great advantage
