The opportunity
Join an innovative and collaborative engineering team shaping the future of high-voltage technology. You will contribute to the development of next-generation SF6-free circuit breakers in a supportive and knowledge-sharing environment. How you’ll make an impact

Support development of SF6-free high-voltage circuit breakers through simulations

Perform system simulations of circuit breakers to support design decisions

Pre and post processing of simulations models and results

Test data analysis and preparation of the simulation input files

Use and further develop internally established simulation tools

Collaborating with interdisciplinary project teams in circuit breaker development
Your background
-
Enrolled Student (preferably Master) or Graduate in Physics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

Basic knowledge of simulations associated with mechanical and electrical engineering applications

Knowledge of mechanics and material strength (practical skills in ABAQUS or similar finite element code is advantageous)

Knowledge and practical skills of Modelica language and Dymola are advantageous

Strong programming skills and interest in Python

Fluency in written and spoken English

Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative independently
