- You take over the strategic and operational management of our Business Applications – with SAP S/4HANA as the digital centerpiece and backbone of our global system landscape.
- You lead a dedicated team of highly qualified specialists in our Competence Centers – with plenty of room for personal responsibility, innovation, and further development.
- You actively develop our application landscape – efficiently, user-centered, and closely integrated with our global business processes.
- Together with your team, you work closely with the departments to continuously question, optimize, and rethink processes digitally – always in line with our overarching IT architecture.
- You strengthen the global key user organization and support our Global Process Owners in the sustainable establishment of seamless processes.
- You are responsible for the design and implementation of seamless end-to-end business processes – ensuring that they are optimally embedded in our application landscape.
- You negotiate and manage external partners and service providers – from consulting to application contracts – with a clear focus on quality, efficiency, and partnership.
- You ensure secure and compliant application usage – including authorization concepts and security policies.
- You are responsible for the entire application lifecycle management – from selection to operation to continuous further development.
What it takes
- A completed degree in computer science or business informatics – or a comparable qualification with a solid technical and business foundation.
- Experience in leading a competence center, ideally in the SAP environment of an internationally operating manufacturing company – you know how to motivate teams and successfully manage complex systems.
- Deep understanding of industrial business processes – from development to purchasing, sales, and logistics to production, finance, or PIM. You recognize optimization potentials before others feel them.
- Practical experience in project management – combined with solid knowledge of modern methods and tools (both traditional and agile), with which you lead projects safely to completion.
- High IT affinity and strong analytical-conceptual thinking, with which you not only understand processes but also rethink them – and translate them into viable application solutions.
- A communicative, assertive personality that brings complex topics to the point understandably – in German as well as in English, with standing at all hierarchy levels.
