Senior Physician General Internal Medicine (a)

This is what the professional everyday life looks like

• Varied clinical activity in an open and experienced team with a friendly working atmosphere at the University Centre for Internal Medicine of KSBL, primarily at the Liestal site and, depending on need, also at the Bruderholz site
• Clinical care of inpatient general internal medicine patients with a broad spectrum of diagnoses
• Supervision and teaching of physicians in training as well as students
• Participation in the duty system on the wards and in the emergency department
• Optional involvement in research projects
• Performing POCUS sonographies in everyday clinical practice

Competences and potential

• Specialist title in General Internal Medicine (or foreseeable acquisition)
• Sound knowledge in internal medicine as well as experience in emergency medicine and POCUS emergency sonography advantageous
• Empathetic, committed personality with a high service and patient orientation
• Enjoyment in teaching and further development of young colleagues
• Enjoyment in interprofessional and interdisciplinary collaboration
