YOUR CHALLENGES
- Creating CNC programs (TopSolid 7), fixtures, tools, and work instructions
- Developing machining processes as well as the correct selection of cutting tools and clamping methods
- Ensuring stable and process-secure program sequences and manufacturing methods
- Continuously optimizing operational production and machining-related processes
- Conducting feasibility studies for new products (NPI) and independently solving drawing and manufacturing problems in collaboration with engineering
- Calculating manufacturing costs and ensuring their adherence
- Participating in process and process review meetings
- Optimizing throughput times, quality, and process cycle times
- Determining and continuously developing manufacturing methods and strategies
- Increasing productivity while adhering to specified KPIs
- Close collaboration with various manufacturing areas, reducing downtime, and minimizing cycle times
- Supporting and closely collaborating with tool management (tool life, cutting values)
- Managing tool lists, system maintenance using the tool manager (TS-Shopfloor)
- Supporting and further developing our global partners
YOUR SKILLS
- Completed basic training as a polymechanic and extensive experience in subtractive manufacturing
- Solid experience (at least 5 years) in CAD/CAM programming and tool technology, preferably milling (4-5 axis machining) as well as complex turning-milling centers
- Experience in HPC / HSC machining is an advantage
- Good communication skills, entrepreneurial thinking, and teamwork
- High quality awareness and reliability
- Systematic, analytical, and independent working style
- German spoken and written
