• Overall responsibility for the operational and strategic procurement of technical components
• Leading price and contract negotiations with national and international suppliers
• Building and further developing a powerful supplier network as well as sustainable partnerships
• Ensuring material availability while adhering to quality, deadlines, and costs
• Proactive management of supply chain risks (e.g., bottlenecks, single sourcing)
• Technical and disciplinary leadership of a small purchasing and PPS team as well as coordination of facility management
• Close collaboration with product development, quality, and production for continuous optimization of the value chain
• Ensuring product compliance documentation
• Co-designing cross-departmental projects and continuously developing procurement processes

• Technical basic training with further education in procurement (federal FA/diploma or HF) and many years of experience in strategic procurement of technical components (mechanical parts, electrical components, etc.)
• Strong leadership personality with the ability to develop employees appreciatively, individually, and motivatingly
• Solid experience in supplier management and building long-term, trustful partnerships on an equal footing
• Professional experience in a comparable industry (machinery, vehicle, or plant engineering)
• Strong analytical skills as well as a structured, solution-oriented, and entrepreneurial mindset
• Convincing negotiation and communication skills with a high degree of empathy and diplomatic tact (German & English)
• Experience in an international environment as well as in leading and implementing projects
