To strengthen our Shared Service Center Finance in Solothurn, we are looking for an committed and experienced individual to start immediately or by arrangement as
Head of Accounting Swiss Medical Network
Your tasks
- Overall responsibility for financial accounting: management, further development and quality assurance of the financial accounting department with a focus on efficiency, compliance and process reliability
- Financial statements: responsibility for the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements of the clinics in the German and French-speaking regions according to Swiss GAAP FER and OR
- Reporting & analysis: preparation of meaningful reports, sound analyses and transparent communication of key figures to the CFO
- Team leadership: management, development and motivation of the accounting teams (approx. 10–15 employees) as well as ensuring efficient and error-free processes
- Internal control system (ICS): ensuring, further developing and monitoring the ICS as well as coordinating the external audit
- Value added tax: responsibility for the correct handling and verification of VAT returns of all companies
- Process & system optimisation: leading and actively participating in projects for the continuous optimisation of financial processes and systems
- Integration of new units: supporting newly acquired clinics and medical centres in the integration into financial and organisational structures
- Collaboration: close cooperation with controlling as well as participation in budget planning and control
- Business intelligence: participation in the development and further advancement of BI solutions to improve data quality and decision-making
Qualifications
- Education: Commercial basic training with further education as a certified expert in accounting and controlling, certified auditor or comparable qualification
- Professional experience: Several years of experience in financial accounting, ideally in healthcare or a complex corporate structure
- Leadership: Proven leadership experience with an integrative and dialogue-oriented leadership style
- Expert knowledge: Sound knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER and OR, experience with annual, quarterly and monthly financial statements; REKOLE an advantage
- IT & systems: High IT affinity, very good Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
- Working style: Analytical, structured, independent, quality-conscious and solution-oriented
- Languages: German or French at native level as well as good knowledge of the other language
- Personality: Honest, loyal and resilient personality with a high sense of responsibility
