Your tasks
- Support of the nursing team in the care and accompaniment of patients in the geriatric psychiatric acute setting
- Assistance with daily activities, mobilization, and daily structuring
- Observation of mental and physical condition (e.g., in cognitive deficits, delirium risk, affective disorders)
- Passing on relevant observations to the nursing team
- Contributing to a safe, calm, and appreciative ward environment
- Collaboration in the interprofessional team
Your profile
- Completed training as an Assistant Health and Social Care
- First experience in psychiatry or elderly care is an advantage but not a requirement
- Interest in working with older people in acute mental crises
- Empathetic, patient, and reliable working style
- Teamwork skills and sense of responsibility
- Good German language skills in spoken and written form
