The Lead Producer / Product Owner has the responsibility to make the product the best it can be and to make
sure that the requirements for its development are clear and to the point in close collaboration with the Head of
Development.
Responsibilities:
- Own the production strategy and have overall lead about planning, prioritizing and scoping
- Team up with product engineers and producers to plan and realize new developments
- Work out specifications for new game features and technologies in consultation with the team
- Coordinate the testing of the work of software engineers and artists and lead an iterative process
- Understand the market and keep up to date with the fan base
- Answer all product related questions in matters of gameplay, usability, user interface and more
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical team members
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks
- Experience in designing products that were successfully brought to market
- German and English communication and writing skills (B2 at least)
Preferences:
- Master's degree in computer science or related fiel
- Experience in the video game industry
- Proven track record of successful game design
