Operations Employee CNC Flame Cutting Machine (80-100 %)

What you will achieve

• Operating and monitoring CNC-controlled oxy-fuel and plasma cutting systems including drilling units and completing orders according to customer requirements or part drawings
• Setting and equipping tools such as drills, taps, countersinks, engravers, milling cutters, plasma and oxy-fuel torches for steel processing
• Plasma flame cutting of steel sheets up to 50mm thick and oxy-fuel flame cutting of sheets up to 200mm thick.
• Operating the new automated deburring line with double-sided deburring and rounding
• Picking cut parts using 2x 10t overhead cranes with magnetic systems and/or pillar slewing cranes, taking into account internal safety and loading regulations
• Production feedback in the PPS/ERP system
• Loading and unloading trucks and railway wagons using cranes or forklifts
• Quality checks of completed work at goods dispatch and receipt
• Maintenance of equipment, inventory as well as general assistance with production and logistics tasks

What you bring

• Manual dexterity with technical flair as well as physical resilience
• Enjoyment and motivation in working with technical equipment
• Several years of experience in oxy-fuel flame cutting (Zinser, Messer, etc.) of steel sheets up to 200mm thick
• Several years of experience in plasma flame cutting (Kjellberg/Hypertherm) or alternatively in laser cutting
• Good German language skills, spoken and written
• Completed training with a Swiss Federal VET Diploma (EFZ)
• Experience in steel and metal processing is a prerequisite
• Crane category C and forklift licence are advantageous
• Willingness to work shifts (early and late shifts)
