Company Description
The Office for Forest, Nature and Agriculture of the Liechtenstein National Administration is the responsible specialist authority for the use, protection and further development of Liechtenstein's natural and landscape areas. We are responsible for the sustainable management of the areas of forest, hunting, nature and agriculture as well as for the protection of natural resources and habitats. In addition, we operate the national forestry service.
Job Description
You feel at home in the following areas of activity:
- Leadership and strategic development of the office
- Future-oriented design of the areas of forest, nature, hunting and agriculture
- Advising the government and political decision-makers
- Leading complex projects and responsible resource management
- Co-shaping legal and regulatory frameworks
- Representation of interests at national and international level
- Networking and collaboration with relevant stakeholders
- Early detection of trends and development of sustainable solutions
Qualifications
You are particularly characterised for this position by:
- University degree, preferably in the fields of environment, natural sciences, forestry, agricultural sciences, law, economics or a comparable discipline
- Several years of management experience
- Experience in dealing with political decision-making processes and complex stakeholder landscapes
- Sound knowledge or strong affinity with the topics of forest, nature, agriculture and sustainable development
- Enjoyment in leading people, shaping change and taking responsibility
- Good English skills
