We are looking for an experienced individual as a Cloud DevOps Engineer with a focus on AWS. With your expertise, you will support the development, maintenance, and scaling of development, integration, and production environments, while simultaneously driving continuous integration, testing, and delivery (CI/CD) with modern GitOps approaches.
Tasks
- Support and further development of the toolchain such as Bitbucket, Artifactory, Jenkins, Docker
- Development of AWS Typescript IaC CDK and Lambdas.
- Provision of a release deployment pipeline including fully automated auditing
- Ensuring continuous updates with zero downtime and AWS ASG.
- Occasional on-call duty (standby / deployments)
Requirements
- Confident handling of GIT (branching concept, PR)
- Very good cloud knowledge
- Many years of experience with AWS, EC2, and VPC architectures
- Very good knowledge of shell scripting
- Ability in software engineering with Typescript
- Knowledge of Prometheus / Grafana
- Experience with agile methodology (Scrum and Kanban)
- Experience working with remote teams
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written
- Experience with Docker, Compose (creating images, architecture) nice to have
