Safety Training Specialist (80 - 100%) (a)
To support the Risk Management department, we are looking for an independent and didactically experienced personality. The position is initially limited to 1 year, with the option of extension.
Training employees in a research institute is a central part of the safety system, especially given the very frequent personnel changes inherent to the system. Therefore, for one year with an option for extension, you will support Empa's Risk Management in developing a training concept, building a series of web-based trainings at different user levels together with the experts, as well as conducting in-person training for various hazard areas. Your didactic and creative skills, organizational talent, as well as your communicative and language strengths (German/English) will be fully utilized. In this role, you will shape the interaction with various internal and external stakeholders.
A technical/scientific education with further training, preferably in a field such as andragogy, media didactics, psychology, or educational management, is a must. You bring training (SVEB 1 or similar) and experience in adult education. You are a safety-conscious personality, accustomed to working independently, creative, and have design skills.
You have already led your own WBT projects and possess organizational talent. Excellent English skills complete your profile perfectly (at least C1).
You enjoy dealing with cultural diversity in a scientific and technical environment and appreciate an open-minded and motivated team.
We offer you a challenging and varied range of tasks in a dynamic and internationally oriented research environment.
