Introduction

Presentation
The Metamorphic Processes (MetP) research group at the Institute of Earth Sciences (ISTE) in the Faculty of Geosciences and Environment is inviting applications for a postdoctoral position (Premier·ère Assistant·e) in the broad field of metamorphic processes.
The postdoctoral researcher will be expected to work on a research topic closely related to the current group’s effort to understand the degree and length scales of equilibration, and to model the associated petrogenetic processes during crustal metamorphism (e.g. SNSF project ThermoFORGE). We welcome applications from individuals with complementary expertise in areas such as experimental or computational petrology and geochemistry, as well as advanced analytical techniques (e.g. SIMS or synchrotron).
Internal and external collaborations with experts in petrology, geochemistry, structural geology and computational approaches are planned.
The University of Lausanne and the Metamorphic Processes Group are committed to promoting gender balance in the workforce, and welcome applications from women and non-binary individuals.
