Meter Technician Electricity

About the job

These are the tasks you will tackle 

• Installation and replacement of electricity meters as well as smart meters

• System integration and data maintenance of measuring devices for electricity, gas and water

• Commissioning of transformer measurements including data communication

• Ensuring high availability of measurement data

• Troubleshooting of measuring and control systems

• Simple electrical installations and factory inspections

What you bring with you 

• Completed vocational training as an electrical installer EFZ or assembly electrician EFZ

• Experience in electrical installations and measurement technology 

• Enjoyment of new technologies (e.g. smart meters, data communication, IT solutions)

• Good user knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems

• Driving licence category B

• Confident German language skills, both spoken and written

• Customer-oriented and quality-conscious thinking and acting

• Independent and precise way of working
