Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals and ranks among the best hospital institutions worldwide according to the Newsweek 2025 ranking. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it plays a leading role in care, research, and education.
At the Communication and Audiovisual Creation Service, the challenges are multiple and captivating: effective and transparent communication, listening to the needs of the institution's departments, supporting its outreach and strategic issues. You will work in a print & digital environment (posters, brochures, networks, motion, photo/video) and collaborate with editors, videographers, photographers, web designers to transform complex messages into clear, coherent, and impactful visuals.
Mission
- You design and create graphic materials (posters, flyers, brochures, illustrations, digital visuals) respecting the CHUV visual identity
- You analyze the request (objective, audience, messages, constraints) and translate it into relevant visual concepts
- You research, document, argue your ideas and know how to present/debate your creative choices
- You propose and produce original, attractive, and positive productions, from storyboard/mockup to layout/files ready for printing
- You adapt your creations according to the media (print, web, networks, screens) and feedback from clients
- You ensure production follow-up and associated administrative work (planning, quotes, billing elements, print checks)
Profile
- You have completed your compulsory schooling and demonstrate a true passion for graphic design and artistic activities
- You are creative, curious, open-minded, with a sense of idea and composition; you master French orally and in writing
- You show dynamism and adaptability to new technologies (Adobe suite or equivalent, digital tools)
- You know how to understand a brief, organize your work, and meet deadlines; you are comfortable arguing your choices.
