To support the realisation of a major project in Geneva, we are looking for an experienced project manager with solid expertise in managing complex operations.
In this role, you will play a central part in leading the project and coordinating all involved parties, with particular responsibility for controlling costs, deadlines, quality, and risks.
Your area of responsibility
- Assume overall responsibility for major projects, from preparation to completion, in direct connection with the client
- Define and ensure an organisation and management strategy adapted to the complexity and challenges of the project
- Manage and control costs, deadlines, quality, and risks, anticipate deviations, and take necessary measures
- Identify and develop technical and economic optimisations and variants that add value to the project
- Manage tenders, negotiations, and awards, and ensure control of contractual and financial issues
- Lead and coordinate all planning and execution teams, both internal and external
- Ensure the management of the Halter project team, define responsibilities, support the teams, and guarantee effective collaboration
- Be the primary contact for the client and maintain a relationship of trust throughout the project
Required qualities
- Higher technical education in the construction field (architect, engineer, ES technician, or equivalent qualification)
- Solid experience (5 to 10 years) in managing large-scale and/or complex construction projects, ideally in total or general contracting on the Swiss market
- Excellent technical mastery of all trades and a comprehensive view of the different phases of a project, from preparation to completion
- Proven expertise in cost, deadline, quality, and risk management, with strong economic awareness
- Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to anticipate, arbitrate, and make decisions in complex environments
- Natural leadership, ability to unite a project team and coordinate numerous internal and external stakeholders
- High autonomy, sense of responsibility, and ability to manage strategic and operational issues simultaneously
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with real ease in dealing with clients and partners
