About the job

As the Country Retail Media Lead in an international team, you are responsible for business development in Switzerland as well as expansion in Austria. You translate global strategies into local market successes with precision, drive the growth of the retail media offering, and make OBI the preferred partner for brands and agencies in both markets.

Your Responsibilities

• Market Development & Revenue: You further develop our retail media offering and are responsible for revenue in Switzerland and Austria.
• Sales Management: You lead and coordinate all sales activities on site.
• Customer Relationships: You build reliable, long-term partnerships with decision-makers at advertisers and media agencies.
• Sales Processes: You adapt our global sales standards to the requirements of the local markets and implement them consistently.
• Collaboration: You work closely with the teams in category management and marketing.

Your Profile

• Industry Experience: Several years of leadership and sales experience in retail media, digital advertising or adtech – ideally with sound knowledge of the Swiss media market.
• Network: Existing contacts with decision-makers at advertisers and agencies in Switzerland (Austria is an advantage).
• Experience in Business Development: Proven success in building new markets or business areas with a clear can-do attitude.
• Language Skills: Fluent German and English. French skills are an advantage.
