Global Pricing Manager (m/f/d)

We are now looking for a Global Pricing Manager to join our team in this newly created and strategic role. You will take ownership of designing and implementing a global pricing strategy that aligns with business goals, working cross-functionally with production, marketing, and product management to ensure sustainable profitability.
Your tasks:
- Develop a comprehensive pricing strategy and framework in collaboration with Product Managers to support global sales efforts
- Build and maintain a competitive pricing and fair market value database
- Create a simplified, scalable approach to customer agreements to drive engagement
- Define brand price positioning and target pricing gaps aligned with revenue and market trends
- Analyze cost structures and price points using statistical and financial tools to ensure profitability
- Develop and refine analytical models for quick, accurate contribution margin calculations
- Generate insightful pricing and profitability reports for senior management
Your profile:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in social sciences, economics, or marketing, with a strong focus on research and data analysis
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in pricing, ideally in an industrial company (with a huge number of SKU’s and a complex distribution setup) or analytics consultancy
- Proven analytical skills, including financial modeling and pricing strategy development
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities to influence across functions
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes and production cost structures
- Familiarity with sales cycles and the ability to deliver actionable data to support sales teams
- Experience with pricing software such as PROS, Vendavo, or similar tools
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data visualization).
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
- Important information: The position can also be filled in other countries than Switzerland
