Shoppi Tivoli in Spreitenbach is the largest shopping and lifestyle centre in Switzerland with over 160 shops across approximately 92,000 m² of retail space. Tivoli Real Estate Management AG, with over 70 employees, manages the centre's properties. For the care and further development of the outdoor and green areas around Shoppi Tivoli as well as various third-party properties, we are seeking a person who understands their craft, enjoys working outdoors, and has the ambition that a facility is not only maintained but visibly well maintained.

Your green expertise is central to us. Since nature has its own annual rhythm, your working day is also varied: during the growing season, your focus is on professional green and tree care. In the quieter winter months, you support your colleagues in building services with other exciting tasks.

Your tasks:

• Independent and professional care of all outdoor and green areas
• Maintenance and inspection of green flat roofs and other roof areas
• Tree care as a central part of your work: from inspection and pruning to recognising diseases, damage and hazards
• Carrying out shrub, hedge and woody plant care as well as seasonal maintenance work
• Lawn and meadow care including mowing, overseeding and needs-based maintenance
• Care of planting areas and perennials as well as seasonal plantings
• Recognising and professionally assessing maintenance needs, damage and safety risks
• Ensuring a well-maintained, representative appearance of all properties
• Independent planning and prioritisation of the tasks to be performed
• Operation, maintenance and upkeep of the necessary machines, equipment and tools

Beyond the garden fence, support in building services:

• Operation of technical systems in the area of caretaking and parking
• Distribution of shopping trolleys to the individual stations
• Supervision of waste disposal systems
• Proper disposal of various types of waste
• Cleaning of general operational areas
• Snow clearance / winter service on roads and paths throughout the site

Your profile:

• Completed training as a Gardener with Federal VET Diploma (EFZ), specialising in garden and landscape construction or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in green space maintenance and garden upkeep
• Solid expertise in tree care, ideally with corresponding further training or additional qualification
• Experience in handling trees, woody plants and green roofs
• Confident use of machines, equipment and common tools for green maintenance
• Strong awareness of occupational safety, especially when working on roofs and at heights
• Independent, reliable and careful working style
• Physical resilience and enjoyment of working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Driving licence category B; additional permits advantageous
• Good German language skills, spoken and written
• And above all: you enjoy your profession and want to see what you have achieved at the end of the day.
• Willingness to work shifts, on-call duty, Saturdays, Sundays and evenings
