To strengthen our team in Visp, Switzerland, we are currently looking for a

Employee for Equipment Support Laboratory Technician Support in Quality Control for daily operations.

Main tasks:

• Co-responsible for supporting and ensuring smooth operational processes in QC
• Mainly responsible for preventive maintenance and troubleshooting/repairs of chromatography devices
• Responsible for activities to ensure the flawless functionality of laboratory instruments
• Responsible for ensuring instrument qualification including organization and filing of documentation (electronically and in paper form) according to the definition of responsibilities in LIMS
• Responsible for contact with device suppliers to organize necessary services or repairs and initiate orders in SAP
• Creation and improvement of necessary work instructions required for the above tasks
• Supports the implementation of the core mission and strategy of QC
• Contributes to continuous improvement

Qualification & experience:

• You have completed vocational training, preferably as a chemical laboratory technician or in another manual profession (e.g., mechanic)
• You are a team player, responsible, resilient, and communicative
• You have a high quality awareness and an efficient working style
• You have a good grasp, are independent, and work reliably
• You have safe handling of potentially hazardous substances
• You are confident in using PCs and standard software
• German language skills in speaking and writing are required; basic knowledge of English would be an advantage
• You are technically interested and also enjoy working with fine, sensitive equipment
