These tasks await you: In this exciting role, you will take on the professional and disciplinary leadership of the product data team and be responsible for the quality, completeness and availability of all product data of Würth AG. You actively shape the data strategy, drive digitalisation and automation in product data management and are a key person at the interface between product management, IT, sales and the Würth Group.

• Holistic planning, coordination and control of all product data initiatives
• Ensuring complete and consistent product data across all channels as well as data quality and availability for downstream systems and analyses
• Responsibility for the correct maintenance and further development of material masters in SAP
• Training and support of users in the area of SAP material master
• Ensuring compliance with product data compliance requirements
• Maintenance of the backend hazardous substance management system
• Regular assessment of risks in the product data environment
• Establishment and further development of data standards and processes
• Continuous optimisation of product data processes along the entire data chain
• Monitoring and evaluation of new tools and technologies in the product data environment
• Leadership and further development of the product data team

To fulfil these demanding tasks, you bring the following qualifications:

• Completed studies or training in business informatics, data management, business administration or comparable
• Several years of professional experience in product data management or related field
• Experience in leading teams or projects is an advantage
• Very good SAP material master knowledge is a prerequisite
• Experience with product information management systems (PIM), ideally Stibo STEP
• Strong data flair: enjoyment and flair in dealing with large amounts of data and complex data structures
• Ability to sustainably establish data standards and processes (especially in SAP)
• Programming skills (e.g. Python, SQL) for automation and data processing
• Data analysis understanding: experience in analysing and interpreting product data
• Experience with AI tools and their use in data management
• Knowledge in data visualisation (e.g. Power BI, Tableau or similar tools)
• Analytical thinking and structured, process-oriented working style
• High initiative and willingness to take responsibility
• Strong communication skills and ability to convey technical content understandably
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form, French skills are an advantage
