Certified Specialist in Surgical Technology HF / Technical Surgical Assistance (m/f/d)

For our specialised practice for Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery at Marktgasse, just a few steps from the Zytglogge, we are looking for an experienced surgical specialist from 1 November 2026. The position is limited as a pregnancy and maternity cover until approximately 31 August 2027. As an expansion of our practice is planned, there is the prospect of a longer-term or permanent collaboration if mutually interested.

Your tasks

• Instrument handling and assistance during surgical procedures from the entire spectrum of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery
• Independent preparation and follow-up of the operating theatre as well as ensuring a smooth process
• Preparation and sterilisation of instruments as well as compliance with hygiene and sterility standards
• Care, inspection and maintenance of the instrumentarium
• Material management, stock control and ordering
• Optionally also patient care in the recovery room

Your profile

• Completed training in surgical technology / surgical assistance, e.g. as a Certified Specialist in Surgical Technology HF or with comparable qualification
• Ideally several years of professional experience and enjoyment of independent work
• Structured, reliable and forward-looking working style with a high awareness of quality and hygiene
• Enjoyment of a small, personal team and short decision-making paths
