HEAD NURSE – 90 TO 100 %

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ensure professional, individualised and respectful care of the person, their choices, autonomy and history.
- Ensure the quality, safety and continuity of care, structure practices and support their development in a continuous improvement approach.
- Combine clinical requirements, quality of life and field realities so that the organisation remains at the service of care.
UNITE — develop skills and collective responsibility in the service of residents
- Manage all nursing staff by giving meaning, setting a clear framework and encouraging responsibility.
- Mobilise skills and enable everyone to fully contribute in their role.
- Support professional development to make it a lever for team and practice evolution.
- Foster a climate of trust, know how to take a stand and support complex human or managerial situations.
CONNECT — embed care in a cross-functional dynamic within the nursing home and the network
- Actively participate in management through reflections and decisions that affect the operation and development of the nursing home.
- Create conditions for smooth collaboration between care and other professions within the institution, in a spirit of complementarity and shared responsibility.
- Maintain constructive relationships with residents and their relatives, involve them in care-related reflections and be a support in sensitive or end-of-life situations.
- Develop quality collaborations with doctors, health and social partners and network actors.
- Ensure the management of the care sector, its organisation and its human, material and financial resources.
- Supervise, with the relevant teams, processes related to care evaluation and funding.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent qualification recognised by the Swiss Red Cross.
- CAS/DAS in team management and project leadership.
- Additional training or proven experience in gerontology, psychogeriatrics and palliative care.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in a similar role, including managing nursing teams.
- Ability to combine clinical requirements, human challenges and organisational realities.
- Assertive leadership combined with good emotional intelligence and the ability to decide, empower and create a safe framework.
- Sense of anticipation, autonomy and ability to approach demanding situations with perspective and calm.
- Ability to create links and trust between the different actors of the nursing home and the network.
