THIS IS WHAT YOU CAN ACHIEVE:

As an automation technician, you analyse problems directly on site when there is a fault in the system. Using circuit diagrams and diagnostic software, you identify and rectify errors. At the beginning of your training, you manufacture workpieces from metal and other materials using manual machines, assemble them, and test their quality. In doing so, you acquire the basic measurement methods of measurement and control technology and learn to handle various machines and materials safely. In the specialised training, you deepen and consolidate your already acquired skills and knowledge, especially in the areas of control and mechanics, through productive work.

THIS IS WHAT YOU BRING:

To start the apprenticeship, you have completed compulsory education at secondary level 1 and have at least a good level of Sek B. You also have good knowledge of mathematics and physics.

Further requirements for the profession of polymechanic are:
- Understanding of abstract relationships

- Interest in electrical engineering

- Enjoyment of precise working methods

- Ability to work in a team

- Independence

- Technical understanding
