Job description

As part of your role within a team of 8 people, you will supervise and coordinate the general and tax accounting activities of the three companies, Tissot SA, Certina SA, and Mido SA.

Your main activities will be as follows:

Financial reliability management

• Ensure the integrity of accounts and the accurate preparation of the balance sheets and income statements of the three companies.
• Ensure compliance with Swiss accounting standards and internal guidelines of the Swatch Group (Swiss GAAP FER), thereby demonstrating a commitment to quality and financial transparency.
• Expertly manage monthly, semi-annual, and annual closings to maintain a robust and up-to-date financial overview.

Audit and compliance supervision

• Thoroughly prepare internal and external audits, paying particular attention to compliance with Swiss accounting standards and internal group guidelines.
• Ensure that all accounting and financial practices align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Financial process optimisation

• Lead continuous review of accounting and financial processes, seeking opportunities for efficiency and improvement.
• Propose and implement innovative solutions to streamline operations, accelerate cycles, and optimise financial results, while respecting Swiss accounting standards and internal group guidelines.

Profile

• Proven expertise in data analysis and efficient resource management for optimal results.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire and guide teams towards excellence while fostering harmonious collaboration.

Professional requirements

• Advanced degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent to a federal diploma as a finance and accounting specialist.
• 10 to 15 years of significant and successful experience in a similar position in Switzerland.
• Mastery of Swiss and international accounting standards.
• Excellent analytical and management skills.
• Proven leadership and ability to work in a team.

Languages

Fluency in French and English. German is a plus.
